12.08.09 | THE STORY SO FAR... PT. 2: GOODBYE VAN
It has now been two years since we started living like rats, and apart for the death of our first car, it's been nothing but good times! The car breakdown forced us to cancel a tour of Scandinavia late last year, something we hope to never have to do again. It was a tough blow, and it took us a good while to get back on our feet (and wheels). After what seemed like ages sitting on our asses, we finally got a hold of a new car earlier this year, which enabled us to start touring again.
And tour we did! We visited Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Holland and Sweden in the course of two weeks. This marked our first successful attempt at touring outside of Norway, and it will definitely not be our last!
In three days we are playing our 40 show right here in Trondheim, kicking of a small Scandinavian run with our good friends Turdus Musicus. The future holds more touring for us, but our main priority the coming year is writing our debut full-length. We hope to have all the material written and pre-produced by next summer, but this is more a guideline than an actual deadline. The goal is to make the best record we possibly can, and it will just have to take as long as it takes. So far we have three totally face melting jams finished, and a few more in various states of assembly. We'll try to keep you posted as we progress.

After driving close to 6 000 km and having the best two and a half weeks ever, it is time to face the real world once more. Thank you so much to everyone who showed up at the shows and to all the wonderful bands we got to play with. 02.03.09 | AHHH, THAT NEW CAR SMELL!
During our weekend on by:Larm we decided it was time; we had to get our hands on a new car. So, we did! Finally, our future as a touring band is safe!
We are still booking for our european tour in April/May, and the dates we have confirmed so far has now been added to the tour section. We hope to have more dates in a couple of weeks. Also, we'll be supporting the mighty Miksha on the release of their new record, The Vulture Conspiracy. Looking forward to it!
Speaking about Miksha's new record, wich by the way kills, guess who has been fortunate enough to release it? Yes, that's right! It's us! It will be out through The Perfect Hoax/Tuba on March 15th, and you better check it, or else you're missing out on the metal album of the year!

We know it's well overdue, but we'll say it anyway: Happy new year everybody! The club Smuget in Oslo has invited us to play at their establishment under this years by:Larm festival. The show is part of the club:Larm program, and yes, we are looking forward to it!
We are currently hard at work booking shows for a european tour in mid April, and we already got some dates confirmed. We'll unveil the route in a month or so.

17.12.08 | ALTERNATIVE ADVENT CALENDAR!
Looks like it's been a while, but we promise the future is full of updates. We'll start with announcing that we have written and recorded a christmas song for Alternativ Julekalender, an alternative advent calendar project which every day up until christmas features some of Norways most exciting underground artists.
The song itself is an electronic piece called "Ka e igjænn av jula?". It was recorded using mostly Timo's livingroom furniture for beats and melodies, but also includes more traditonal instumentation. Head over to our myspace to check it out.

20.10.08 | BAD NEWS...
It is with heavy hearts that we have to cancel all the dates on the nordic tour that was scheduled to start tomorrow. This weekend our piece of shit car (1984 - 2008) decided to die, thus disabling us from going anywhere outside the borders of Trondheim basically.
We sincerely apologize to all the bookers, promoters and everybody who planned to attend the shows, and we promise to come back as soon as possible. We have given ourselves six months to come up with the money for a new ride, and we have already started planning and booking a new tour for late april. We'll spend the downtime writing new material, so it's not all bad.

We're very sorry to inform you that Disfear has been forced to pull all their Norwegian dates due to illness, and so our scheduled stage sharing hardcore extravaganza on october 8th will not be happening after all. Maybe next time, eh?

Recently we signed a deal with Tuba Records for norwegian wide distribution for all music released through our own label The Perfect Hoax. This means that SXY SXY GSW EP, as well as everything we put out in the future will be available in all major and minor record stores throughout Norway. We are going to create a web site for The Perfect Hoax, but when this will go online is hard to say. The last month has been spent booking fall dates, and it is starting to pay of. We will embark on a nordic tour late October, and the first three shows will be in Oslo, Copenhagen and Gothenburg. More shows will be announced shortly, so keep checking back y'all!

11.08.08 | THE STORY SO FAR... PT. 1: CAR TROUBLE
The Øya Festival ended with a slow, droning bang Saturday night when Sunn O))) took us with them in their career-spanning search for the brown note. Sadly, they didn't find it this time either, but it sure was fun! Fun was also the keyword for our own little show at Øya. Last Train was packed, and the gig went smoothly. The biggest thanks imaginable to Mats Mathisen of Myoclon, who has been kind enough to lend us a hand on bass this summer.
About this time last summer the three of us met up in Trondheim
to converge all the ideas and structures we had into a debut EP. What has happened since then has truly surpassed every dream we had for this band. SXY SXY GSW EP was released to rave reviews from the Norwegian press, 21 shows have been played, and we even got our own record label, The Perfect Hoax, up and running.
As we fall head first into our second year of existence, we hope to exceed our previous achievements. We are planning to do a lot more shows both in and out of Norway, the first of which is confirmed all ready, a support slot for Swedish punk/hardcore heroes Disfear. We have also casually started writing on our debut full-length. Now, if only our car would work properly...

Yesterday we returned to Trondheim from the Storås Festival. Although everybody where a bit tired and post-smashed, we felt very proud about our performance there. The crowd was great, the sound was awesome, everything just clicked!
Tomorrow we are of to play the Øya Festival. We are doing a split there with the fine Bungalow Ranchstyle at Last Train. If you for some weird reason are planning to come see us, word on the street is to show up early, 'cause it's going to fill up fast!

23.06.08 | STORIES FROM THE ROAD
Hola amigos y amigas! Just checking in with some quick updates. First of all the gigs in Trondheim, Oslo and Copenhagen have been awesome! A big thank you goes out to all the people who showed up to watch us dance.
This short trip to Denmark and back again has really left it's scars on our ability to trust other people. Right before soundcheck in Trondheim, Remi and Timo were at our rehearsal space packing some stuff and getting everything ready for our trip to Oslo the next day. When they were just about ready to leave, they caught a junkie red handed robbing our car. They wrestled with him for a while and got most of our stuff back, when suddenly the motha'hucka drew a knife and told them to back of. Luckily, he decided to run away instead of doing something stupid. About five minutes later, HAUST called and told us that they had to back out from the show in Copenhagen. We decided to do the show anyway.
On our way to Copenhagen we stopped a few hours in Gothenburg to check out the city and grab something to eat. When we returned to our car, three windows had been smashed in. Robbed again!?!? Two times in the course of four days!!! What are the odds??? The thieves couldn't have been to smart, because they left our equipment untouched and instead took of with most of our clothes and Remi's Macbook. They gave us a good scare though, and this newfound paranoia combined with having to use most our money on car repairs forced us to sleep in the woods for three days.
In more lighter news, we have been invited to play the Storås Festival on the outskirts of Trondheim later this summer. Blonde Redhead, Efterklang, Meshuggah and Årabrot are just some of the great acts playing there, and we are honoured to be a part of such a diverse programme. Hello everybody! We know it's been a while since our last update, but we've been very busy and there's not really been anything exciting to report, until now...
We are going to play a couple of shows with the excellent, excellent HAUST in the middle of june and the dates can now be found in the tour section. This will be our first shows outside of Norway, and we are really looking forward to it! We have also been invited to play at Last Train in connection with the Øya Festival in Oslo early August. Pretty bad ass, huh?
Some great stuff has been happening with the distribution of our material lately. We can't say to much yet since not everything is 100% confirmed, but we'll let you know as soon as it's written in stone.

22.02.08 | BACK TO OUR DAY JOBS...
So our first tour has officially come to an end, and it has been the sweetest two weeks ever! We drove somewhere around 5 500 km, spent about a 100 hours in the car, and probably went through a million miles of duct-tape. Thanks to all the people who came out to watch us dance, and all the bands that we've been fortunate enough to share a stage with. Ekstra stor takk fra botten av våre hjerter til: Fritz R. While we where on the road the first reviews of "SXY SXY GSW EP" has started ticking in, and the response has been overwhelming. Just drop by the press-section to see what they've been saying about us. The EP is currently only available directly from us or at Platebutikken Tiger in Oslo, but we are working on getting a wider distribution as we write this.
The next couple of months are going to be spent booking a European tour for the summer, as well as some festival dates. We are also going to start working on a couple of new songs.

The releaseparty was KILLER, and we just want to thank everybody who showed up and made this the best night of our lives (yet). Also, a huge thanks to GIN for playing such a badass set, and for being such nice guys!
we've added some more dates to the upcoming Norwegian tour, and the tour is now complete. We are leaving for Bodø tomorrow morning to kick of two weeks of noise, sweat and male bonding. Hope to see y'all out there!

23.01.08 | IN FIKTION
Some scary shiznit went down on our way to Oslo this weekend. The roads where frozen solid and somewhere along the highway our car decided to loose it's grip, do a 180 and send us crashing in to the snow. Shaken, not stirred we stepped out of the vehicle and started looking for help. After a while it dawned on us that most people are bastards who don't give a rats ass (no pun intended) about the next man. Long story short, We just want to thank Per Magne and Anette for being our much needed knights in shining armor and helping us get back on the road again.
Apart from all this the rest of the trip was awesome, and we are really grateful and honoured that we we were chosen to support Desperado on one of the final gigs of their career. They have now officially proclaimed themselves dead, and in doing so have left a hole in the Norwegian scene that can never be filled... R.I.P.
In other news, our good friend and favourite swede Gustaf Lundh A.K.A. FIKTION will be joining us throughout the Norwegian tour. We are really looking forward to hearing his soothing electronica night after night.

Our first tour is starting to take form and the dates can be viewed in the tour-section. Some venues are still to be announced and some more dates might be added in the 11th hour, but it already looks like it's going to be a helluva good time!
We are also supporting the almighty Desperado on one of their last shows ever. It's all going down on Garage in Oslo on january 17th. We are really looking forward to it, just wish it wasn't a wake...

Apart from the fact that our beautiful car decided to break down on us about ten minutes into our trip to Bergen and Oslo, everything else went along just peachy. Good times, great shows, and a huge thank you to everybody who came out to watch us dance or even dance with us!
Recording of our debut EP starts tomorrow morning at 9.00 sharp and we are excited indeed! the session should be wrapped up by november 13th, after which we'll get it mastered and eventually printed...

19.10.07 | THIS GANGBANG SURE IS OFF TO A SLOW START

As can clearly be seen there isn't much contents to speak of at the moment, but there is alot going down in the next couple of months so more will be added as we progress.
On october 24th we are breaking the hymen at Garage in Bergen. We are playing in Oslo after that the 29th, and in Trondheim november 9th. It'll be a riot, so if you are in the area, be sure to check it out!
We like to think that our shows will be somewhat like observing a trainwreck: People running around on fire screaming their heads of while earachingly loud noises and flashing lights cascades upon you, raping your senses one after the other. But try as you might... you just can't stop watching.
This accident will also be caught on tape during the first week of november, when we will be recording our debut entitled SXY SXY GSW EP. If everything goes according to plan, it will see the light of day sometime very early next year.
